Pineland Patients Cemetery is the burial ground for the now closed Maine School for the Feebleminded, later known as Pineland Hospital and Training Center. It is located to the rear of Webber Cemetery and adjacent but separate to the Pineland Cemetery. These patients were unclaimed when they died, so the hospial buried them here. The cemetery also includes a memorial to the 18 residents of Malaga Island who were disinterred and moved here in 1912.
