Ripley Smallpox Cemetery

It is said that 3 to 5 people were buried here. The headstones are gone, but the bodies are still present. Eugene Wright (1890-1973, in Tales of Old Plympton, wrote that the slate headstones were removed in 1898 by Angus McDonald, who owned the property at the time. The property was the former home of Zebedee Wright and the cemetery was "in the field back of the barn which was south of the house
