This is a beautiful little cemetery located on private property, but open to the public. The nearest house is the home of Fred Dodson and the late Mildred Louise Powell Dodson. If anyone is at home, it would be courteous to stop in and let the family know you are visiting loved ones in the cemetery.

DIRECTIONS: From Rosman, NC: Take US HWY 178 (Pickens Hwy) about 1 mile south of Rosman. Bear left at EAST FORK ROAD. Proceed about 1 mile to the "Welcome to Powell Town" sign. Turn right onto POWELL TOWN RD. Drive up hill about 1/2 mile to a fork in road. Turn LEFT. Proceed down private road past house (located on the right) through the wooded area. The Cemetery has a circular driveway for easy access/exit, and ample parking for some 50 or so automobiles.
