Winter Beach Cemetery was established in 1908 and is a public, but privately owned cemetery. Its size totals approximately 15 to 20 acres, with hundreds of graves. It is situated on a sand ridge in Indian River County, Florida. It is well maintained and is very quaint and secluded, "old-timey", and a very personal cemetery. Very many of the "founding fathers" of Vero Beach, of stature and prominence, and their families, have been laid to rest here. It is a very beautiful and personal cemetery.
