This cemetery belonged to the Bogal Ridge Triumph Church. The church was built in the mid 1800s, burials in the cemetery began as early as 1860. The church has not been used since the early 1900s and no longer stands. The only part left is a few foundation stones.

I spoke with Mr. Earl Ryan, who gave me the information on the cemetery. His grandparents once attended the church and are buried in the cemetery. His grandfather, George Brand, was the last burial in the cemetery in 1934. Mr. Ryan said that there were many burials in the cemetery, but did not know how many. The cemetery has been neglected since the church closed and is very overgrown with weeds and brush.

I only found 8 readable stones. The cemetery has been vandalized several times and most of the stones were destroyed. Several years ago some teenage boys dug up the grave of a Confederate Civil War Soldier that was killed in action and buried here. The boys stole the soldiers scull and left the metal casket exposed, which is still visible. There was no marker at the soldier's grave.
