This cemetery is located in Hatcher Valley near Cave City, Kentucky. It overlooks I-65. Grinstead Mill Road will be the first right after you cross the railroad track in Cave City and proceed about 3 miles until you cross I-65, the next road to the left is Farmers Road. Go about 1/2 mile and on the left you will see an iron gate (which is locked) to a long gravel drive back to a field about 1 mile. The cemetery is off to the right and is visible with a bright white fence around the perimeter. It is well maintained. The land for the Cemetery was originally donated by Azariah Hatcher. The cemetery was originally connected with the Servant Valley Baptist Church which is located nearby on Grinstead Mill Rd. before you cross I-65. To some people, this cemetery has been known as the Poynter Cemetery because of the number of Poynters buried there.
