This site is overgrown with forest and appears small but may contain many more unmarked graves. Looking at the Findagrave map in aerial view, the darker green color of vegetation around this site suggests its immediate area was once cleared and much larger.
A survey conducted in the 1980-90s indicates there are at least 16 graves at this site. The survey is online at http://www.ncgenweb.us/richmond/terrybridgecem.htm. The site was photographed in November 2011. Thirteen (13) markers were found. Additional memorials have been added as unmarked graves.
The existing markers are associated with two grandsons of William & Anne Raiford Terry of Hitchcock's Creek (East of the Pee Dee). Interred here are the family of Samuel Calvin Terry, his wife, their 6 adult children, 1 son-in-law, Samuel's brother Richmond, 1 toddler, and 5 others with incomplete names/dates but related. Of the latter, J. Terry, is most likely Samuel and Richmond's mother, Jane Terry. Her memorial has been renamed Sarah Jane Jernigan Terry.
Samuel Calvin Terry and Richmond Terry were sons of James & Sarah Jane Jernigan Terry and grandsons of William & Anne Raiford Terry. William, Anne and their son James are reportedly here in unmarked graves.

Many thanks to Darrell for trekking into the woods to photograph the site and its markers. (November 2011)

DESCRIPTION of cemetery from: http://ncgenweb.us/richmond/terrybridgecem.htm
The cemetery was "re-discovered" on 5/3/2010 by Platt Terry, Jr. and Ken Bagley.
The cemetery is completely overgrown with dense foliage, thickets, and fallen trees and limbs, but the headstones are in remarkably good condition once the soil and overgrowth are pushed away. They are all easily readable, and the information on the Richmond Co. website surveyed by Mr. Sherrill and Ingram appears to be correct.
There is no road or path to the site, and is only accessible through dense woods and brush. It is located approximately 200 or 300 yards from Terry Bridge Road. The address would be about 130 Terry Bridge Rd., and for those who use Google Earth or a GPS, the map coordinates would be 34.58.19 N and 79.44.05W.
