This cemetery is within the boundaries of Versailles State Park. It was visited in the 1930s by Miss Violet Toph, and she transcribed the stones. Around 1960 the cemetery was vandalized; park personnel reported that the stones were likely tossed over the nearby cliff of Fallen Timber Creek. It is possible to locate the site, as it is between two turns of an old road, and above the southeastern end of a prominent bend of the creek, as shown on the Johnson Township map in the Ripley County Atlas from the 1883. It was at that time located on the property of the heirs of Austin Livingston (son of James and Mary Livingston?). Besides the Livingstons, here are also the graves of four children of Eliphalet and Margaret Stevens. The children all died of cholera within a week's time. Margaret Stevens is shown on the map living just west of the Austin Livingston farm.

Until about 1965 the cemetery was shown on maps of the state park as "Pioneer Cemetery," although the trail near it was depicted in the wrong location.

Examination of the site has yielded little evidence beyond cedar trees, fence marks on tree trunks, and small pieces of what may be one of the stones.
