a.k.a. Grove Burial Grounds

According to "Cemetery Inscriptions of Highland County, Ohio" by David and Jane McBride (1990 reprint), Easter Cemetery is located in Paint Twp., just north of Rocky Fork Lake. The map shows that it is just south of US 50, off of present-day North Beach Road. This would be 4 or 5 miles east of Hillsboro.

Cemetery was located on the original Jacob Easter farm in Highland County and several generation of Easter family are buried there. Some years later the cemetery and related farm land was sold to the Grove family, although the cemetery is still more commonly known in genealogical resources as the Easter Cemetery.
