Fanjoy's Point Cemetery is on a point of land on the shores of Grand Lake, Queens County, Waterborough, New Brunswick, Canada. It is located about one mile north of Lakeside Provincial Park, and about one-quarter of a mile off the Trans-Canada Highway. This Loyalist cemetery had nearly 100 burials. It is now surrounded with summer cottages and trees. Many stones have indications of inscriptions, but have been eroded with age, and are unreadable.
The cemetery consists of 1/2 acre of land that was owned by Jacob F. Wiggins, and therefore, was also called the 'Wiggins Family Cemetery' and was dedicated in 1815. The 1/2 acre cemetery is exempt from sale in all deeds after 1815, and is now considered to be owned by the Crown. It can not really be considered as the Wiggins Family Cemetery as Jacob Wiggins executors gave the 1/2 acre of his land for an Anglican Cemetery for their relatives and neighbours.
The readable stones range from 1815 to 1855.
Jacob F. Wiggins was the first one buried there in 1815.
