Cemetery is located in Section 33, Rose, Twp, on the Delores Jeffers farm. It is located about 120 yards north of the house and about 100 years west of the road in a grove of trees. This cemetery is located near an abandoned settlement called Reedville, which was a stagecoach stop along the old "Anglin Road" from Vandalia to Shelbyville. It was so grown up in blackberry briars that it was hard to get around. Many stones were down and covered with leaves and brush." - Ed Boedecker. Ed documented all of the headstones at the cemetery in 1967 and put that information in a book that can be found at the Shelby County Genealogical Society titled 'Inscriptions of Shelby Count Illinois Cemeteries, Volume 1'.
