I have attached pictures of the head stones for some Winningham relativies in the Old Sharon Cemetery that were made sometime in 1993. A lot of people don't know this cemetery exist and we had a hard time locating.
One marker is for H.C.Winningham b. 02 Apr 1852, and d. 18 June 1870. The inscription reads:
Sacred to the Memory of H. C. Winningham, As in Adam shall die even so in Christ shall all be made in Heaven. Henry C. Winningham was 18 years old when he was killed, we do not know by what means.
One marker is for George C. Winningham b. 31 Mar 1856, and d. 14 Nov. 1856.
Behind these two markers is a flat rock slab with the name M.A.Winningham, this is Mary Ann Collins Winningham, b. 21 Mar 1829, d. 02 May 1875, wife of Joseph F. Winningham.
To her right in an unmarked space is Joseph F. Winningham, b. 31 May 1823, d. 29 May 1900.
Joseph F. Winningham made these markers and carved the inscriptions into them.
The majority of remaining Winninghams were buried at Carville Cemetery in East Tallassee.
