Burial records, headstone inscriptions and brief details from the Woodville Post Office Death Register. This cemetery is situated on Cemetery Road, Kumeroa in the Woodville County. Kumeroa is 14 Km East of Woodville and the cemetery is a further 8 km from the village.
There was an earlier cemetery 1886-1907 approximately located nearer to the village. This is now farmland and no sign of the old cemetery remain today. Most of the burial records were lost in a house fire and the Woodville Register was searched to establish as many burials as possible, there are many unknown people buried in the cemetery. There is a monument to those known burials that have no headstones and there are 12 burials that have headstones. The cemetery is grazed by a local sheep farmer and is in good repair.
