When searching in a cemetery, use the ? or * wildcards in name fields. ? replaces one letter. * represents zero to many letters. E.g. Sorens?n or Wil*
Search for an exact birth/death year or select a range, before or after.
Select "More search options" to:
Search for a memorial or contributor by ID.
Include the name of a spouse, parent, child or sibling in your search.
Use partial name search or similar name spellings to catch alternate spellings or broaden your search.
Narrow your results to famous, Non-Cemetery Burials, memorials with or without grave photos and more.
GPS coordinates are a great way to add the location of a burial site to a memorial and can make it much easier for people to find and visit a headstone or grave.
Use Search this map area to search for memorials by name in the visible area of the map.
Hold down the shift key and drag the mouse to select memorials in a section of the cemetery.
Select a name in the result list to highlight it on the map.
Select a circle on the map to see information about that memorial.
For cemeteries with lots of memorials we combine circles into a group and display the Show all memorials button. Select a grouped circle to ungroup it. Select the Show all memorials button to download all memorials for that cemetery. This may take some time on slower connections and use more data on mobile devices.
