3 Aug 2015 - There was an old flag that had been mounted to the backside of the top board by nails. The wooden stick broke, and later I found the flag lying in the weeds.

12 Aug 2015 - I mounted a metal bracket and a new all-weather flag on the sign today.

Two thirds of this cemetery is overgrown with weeds. Paths have been mowed to the visible stones.

I can't help but wonder if graves and gravestones are covered over with the immense overgrowth of weeds in the cemetery?

Along the gravel road to the cemetery, there is a sign that says 'Roadside Prairie Restoration.' In spite of the attempt to restore prairies, I believe the cemetery should be kept completely mowed. There may be graves that are now lost due to the overgrowth of vegetation.

This cemetery is listed as the Grady Cemetery on Findagrave.

Google maps show it as the Grady Cemetery. The sign in front of the cemetery says 'Hardy' Cemetery.

Is this cemetery actually the Grady-Hardy Cemetery, or the Hardy-Grady Cemetery? Does anyone know for sure?

There are currently no identified gravestones with the name of Grady in the cemetery, but there are Hardy gravestones.

It is possible that the Grady stones (and graves) are lost, buried, or covered up in the immense growth of weeds around the cemetery.
