The Burning and sacking of The Town in addition to Thyphoid Fever in the Region added to the Old Scot Cemetery and the Families moving to New Morven 1 Mile West on NC 145 as the The Cheraw - Darlington Rail Road laid Tracks across the Hardison Property to link Cheraw to Wadesboro.
Cemetery can be located By driving South on US Highway 52 from Wadesboro NC to Morven @ The intersection of US 52 and NC 145 ; Make a left turn onto 145 ( Main Street Morven NC ) and drive East using 145 thru Morven and just East of Morven to the intersection of Diggs RD ( 1812 ) making a left and stop. The Cemetery is located by looking Westward.--There is No longer a Sign at the location.
