Maintained by* Kilmartin Cemetery Board. From Robert Conley: In about 1835, an acre of land purchased from Alex McIntyre to establish the 'Presbyterian Burying' place. The first burial was in 1835, an infant child of Donald McLachlan. A further 2 � acres was acquired from Peter McIntyre in 1870. Another addition came in 1896. In 1915, a small caretaker's cottage was built on adjoining farmland, however a fire in 1939 destroyed the house along with many records. New records were drawn up with the help of those then intimate with the cemetery.
