In 1837 it united with the Orthodox Friends and became a month meeting attached to the Dunnings Creek Quarterly Meeting in Bedford County. Linn reported the congregation to include upwards of 15 families in 1883. The grave yard was laid out in 1837. [John Blair Linn, History of Centre and Clinton Counties, Pennsylvania, 1883 p 239] See Centre County deeds, where land was conveyed from George and Mary Valentine, Reuben and Sarah Valentine, Abraham and Clarissa Valentine, Bond and Lydia Valentine, William and Eliza Thomas to Isaac Miller for $1.00 for use of a people called Quakers, belonging to Centre Monthly Meeting at Bellefonte in perpetual succession forever....signed 2 d 10 m 1834, recorded 24 October 1839.
In July 1928 the Quaker Association set up a trust agreement for perpetual care at the Friends Burial Ground. A survey of the lines had been run in April 1920, retracing the lines of an 1889 survey. The trust fund is currently managed by the Trust Department of Midstate Bank, State College. The Friends Burial

Directions to the Cemetery: From in front of the Court House ( In Bellefonte) at the corner of Allegheny and High Streets, go west on High Street for 1 block. Turn left onto South Spring Street. Follow South Spring Street for 2/10 mile. Turn left onto South Spring Street (this is the 4th left on South Spring Street). Go up the hill on South Spring Street for about 1/10 mile. The street will make a sharp left turn around the walled cemetery. Near the end of the wall you will see grassy area to your right where you can park.
