This burial ground is located next to the URI stadium. It is a fieldstone cemetery rediscovered in 1986. In 2003 there is a new 69' stone wall bounding north along the south lobby wall of the new Ryan Center at URI, and 80' along the football field.

James Arnold [#8 22 Feb 1880]: "On land of John H Tefft on plain due west from his house is a burial yard in open lot covered with hazel brush and briers. graves 17 Lg, 2 Sm rude marked rudely, lot in open field and unprotected. These of the Niles family the first proprietors of this land."
