Directions to the cemetery are as follows:
From the junction of US 50 & US 31 in Seymour, IN, go east on US 50.
In 8.7 miles at the roundabout, take the second exit onto US 50.
In 4.2 miles, turn left onto State Road 3.
In 1.7 miles, turn right onto West County Road 500 North.
In 1.5 miles, turn left onto North Base Road.
In 0.9 mile, turn right onto East County Road 585 North.
The cemetery will be approximately 800 feet ahead, and the entrance is on your left. It is a one land gravel road in and out, so plan your visit during a time when the ground is not likely to be dampened by rains or snow.
During the mid 1990s, the cemetery property was extensively renovated and improved by Kenneth J Kellar, whose parents are both buried in the cemetery.
You will drive down a gravel lane to reach the cemetery. Upon arrival, you will see two pillars and a black iron gate. Each pillar has plaques honoring the veterans who are buried in the cemetery. As of November 2020, those individuals are as follows:
William Meserve, Samuel Smith, John C Matthews, Daniel McGuire, David U. Reynolds, Charles Davis, William F Marsh, Joseph Sampson, W.A. Thorp, Jesse W Kellar, Jesse K Kellar, Marvin S Kellar, Sheila J Kellar, and Jesse F Low.
