This Saint Jacobs Union Lutheran Cemetery, York New Salem, York, PA has been getting mixed up with Saint Jacob's Union United Church of Christ that is an older cemetery which is across the street, and is the old section of this cemetery. Years ago the church split from that building to this one on this page.

The cemetery sections, old and new sections are maintained by the same caretaker are one of the same.

For more correct record keeping, memorials are more properly posted in the cemetery where the grave is located. It would make it easier to find headstones while visiting the new and old sections.
