In January 1890, the little Norwegian congregation in Blaine Township decided to build a church and plot a cemetery. Ole O. Aas donated two acres of ground. The first internment was John A. Kaasa in February 1892. Veterans from four wars rest here. The cemetery association was organized in 1923 and hires a full time caretaker each year.
