Augustana Cemetery is located in the NW 1/4 of Section 9 of Halstad Township. This location is 3 miles north of Halstad and 1 mile east of Highway 75. Augustana Lutheran Church was organized in 1875 by Rev. A.A. Scheie. The church stands on the same site, and although remodeled, it is the same building as built in 1885.
