To reach this cemetery: From US Route 19 between Beckley and Oak Hill (1.7 miles SW of Oak Hill) turn onto Route 612 toward Mossy- (Right turn from Oak Hill; Left turn if coming from Beckley). Follow road about a mile to the Whipple Company Store Museum. Cross over the Scarbro Road and continue straight past the stop sign on the road shown in picture about 1/2 mile. Continue past Hunk Hill Road to the following road and turn Right at the cemetery sign.

Turn off to the cemetery on the right.

The road to the cemetery and the old abandoned church is shown partly on the left. This sign before the cemetery is dedicated to the many men buried in the cemetery who were killed in the coal mines.

Saint Peter and Paul Cemetery entrance. Unfortunately, it is kept padlocked, even on Mother's Day when I went to visit.
