From Newburg in Preston County Route 92 take Independence road,across from Newburg post office to intersection of Independence road turn right, go a short distance then turn left onto John Orr Road,there is no road sign,you will turn at the old Independence school,follow that road.
When you come to a y in the road stay on the right it becomes gravel.This will take you to what the locals know as Fortney's Mill.Cross the bridge and continue 2 tenths of a mile.
Gate is on your right.Cemetery is one half mile in at the end of the road.You can drive but the road is bad in some places.

This cemetery is a well kept cemetery,neatly mowed and maintained.
This includes the half mile road in.
Most of the graves in this cemetery are on the right,a few on the far left.
There are several graves marked only with field stones.
