The Rolling Dam United Cemetery is located at 374 Rollingdam Road, at the intersection of the road with the Sorrel Ridge Road and adjacent to the Rolling Dam Baptist Cemetery. The United Church and Cemetery is located on a parcel of land (NB Parcel ID# 01209931) that is 2.6 acres in size. The United Church was first constructed as a Presbyterian Church at Whittier Ridge before 1839. In 1869, the church was dismantled and moved to its present site in Rolling Dam. In 1925, the church became part of the United Church of Canada. Additional land was added to the property in 1961 when William J. T. McGuire and his wife Etta deeded land surrounding the church to the Congregation of United Church. This cemetery is located adjacent to the Rolling Dam Baptist Church and Cemetery. The cemetery is still in use with over 800 known burials. The cemetery was transcribed by the Charlotte Branch of the New Brunswick Genealogical Society in 1997. Rolling Dam is located in the parish of Dumbarton in Charlotte County, New Brunswick. Some debate surrounds the proper spelling of this rural community, either as "Rollingdam" or "Rolling Dam" with the latter being viewed as the more historic place name and the other being more recently adopted especially by the Provincial government.
