Large sections of this cemetery has had the tombstones removed years ago. While visiting there in 2008 the Pastor explained that Quakers didn't believe in calling attention to themselves even after death, however some Quakers had been in the habit of putting their full names on the tombstones which was in violation to the Friends beliefs. Thus those tombstones (many of the older ones) were removed leaving a large open field with unmarked graves.
