The Ben Dye Cemetery is located about 5 miles south and west of Whitesboro, TX, in Grayson Co. The land was donated by Ben (Benjamin) R. Dye (buried at this cem.). The first person to be buried at this cemetery was E. D. Webster, uncle of Ben. There are over one hundred graves in this cemetery, many unmarked and lost; among the unmarked graves there were slaves, old soldiers, and many forgotten ones.
