This Veteran Memorial installation honors all veterans everywhere.

The 'plaza' section consists of bricks in which the names of veterans and years of service are carved. At the front of the 'plaza' is a stone marker onto which the emblems for all five branches of the US military are etched.

Memorial benches surround the 'plaza' in curved rows on three sides. These benches honor veterans buried in various cemeteries.

The memorial was built by the Onalaska chapter of the American Legion with additional financial contributions and support of numerous area businesses, organizations and individuals. It is not complete and continues to grow.

New entrance and sign installed during the 2018 renovation. The entirety of the fencing on Main Street was replaced in addition to the revamp of the two Main Street entrances.
