Conflict regarding date of death. The Farwell Family history gives her date of death as February 13, 1875, but her burial announcement implies that her date of death was February 14, 1875, as follows:
""The remains of the widow of the late Solomon Farwell -- who died here some ten years ago -- arrived here for interment Wednesday, from Gardner, Illinois, where she had resided with her daughter, several years. Mrs. Farwell was a sister of the late Col. Philip Pond, her age being about 75 years. She leaves one son in this vicinity, C. C. Farwell, and three daughters who reside in the West. Mrs. Farwell died last Sunday her remains being brought through by rail."
