Jane Wallace was Janet Love daughter of Robert Love and Eleanor from Ireland. They came over in 1791 on the ship Irish Volunteer arrived in Charleston SC on Jan. 1791. It took 7 weeks and three days. They must have had a good trip. The Wallace's and Love's were among the passengers on the ship. They settled on Clark's Fork in York County (South Carolina)and several of them are buried in the Beersheba Cemetery in York County SC. Janet had 2 sister and three brothers that came all so. (1) Janet Love 1763-1851 married James Thomas Wallace, (2) John Love 1765-1849, married Margaret Rippa before leaving Tyrone; (3) William Love 1767-1849, married Nancy McHarter and they did not rear a family; (4) Frances Love 1768-1858, married Robert Ferguson (5) Elizabeth Love 1776-1852, married a cousin John Love and settled in that part of Buncombe County (NC) that latter became Henderson; (6) Robert Love 1776-1848, married Sarah McHarter, a sister to his older brother William's wife.
