Bio

I have been a "tombstone tourist" since I was a child, when I would walk with my grandmother and listen to her tell the stories of the people behind the stones in the cemeteries.

When I discovered this site, I signed on to try to help photograph the gravestones needed or requested for cemeteries near me in eastern Rowan and northern Stanly Counties of North Carolina, or anywhere else I happen to be if I see a photo is missing or requested or a memorial has not been made for someone.

Sometimes I will add a photo I've taken if I see that the GPS is missing on the FG app. It might be a duplicate, but it adds the exact location of the grave from the photo on my phone.

Edits are welcomed and memorial transfers will gladly be granted to family members upon request. I am not in this to collect memorials - I just believe everyone deserves to be remembered. I only ask that you be sure any information you send for edits is accurate as I have had a few edit requests that were not correct. I tend to use the Find a Grave phone app primarily and only check the computer version once a week or so for requested edits. I am also updating several hundred memorials that I took over for a Fallen Graver so please bear with me as I go through and try to add photos and bio information on those. Again, accurate information for edits is always welcomed.

Every picture tells a story, and every story should be told.
