Former 68W, current Paramedic. I have a deep appreciation, and love for History. I have recently been tracing my family's genealogy, and have been informed I am eligible for SVC Membership. I am looking forward to going to Rock Island Confederate Cemetery to visit my great grandfather, to tell him how his fighting spirit, and love of freedom didn't die in a jail up North. Also to thank him from the bottom of my soul for standing for freedom, and a just cause. Also I am looking for any Confederate graves close to me that I can tend to, and honor these men, that stood shoulder to shoulder for independence, and liberty with my family.
