Hi, I'm Robert Heck. I'm very interested in learning more of my ancestors. I live in Norfolk VA, but have fond memories of visiting family in West Virginia when I was young. The first Heck to arrive in America (at least from my family tree) was Johan Yost Heck (my 7th great grandfather) and his wife Eva Marie Engle. I am particularly interested in knowing where the Heck's lived in West Virginia (and Pennsylvania before that) I believe the Heck family cemetery is in or near Rivesville WV and hope that I have the opportunity to visit it someday if it can be found. I believe some of the early Heck's lived near Rivesville and in or near Winfield in West Virginia ( then Virginia).
