Bio

Hi, I've always found ancestry and cemeteries fascinating , especially old ones. I'd say I'm somewhat of a tombstone tourist that I picked up from my late mother. She loved to just go and walk through cemeteries every now and then to be at peace and look at the old headstones that were around to read the epitaphs on them. I try to maintain cemeteries when I visit if they look like they haven't been kept up well. This can include trash that's around, any flowers that have blown off of the graves I put back on and etc. Lately, I've been cleaning hard to read headstones of my relatives and close family members, so they will continue to last for future generations. I wish I could do it for all headstones that are illegible and in poor condition, but the solution I use (D/2 Biological Solution) isn't cheap and it's made specifically for cleaning headstones.
I'm mainly focusing on and studying my family surnames at the moment to better understand my family tree and ancestry.

Any photos that I post, feel free to use either personally or on this site. I try to make sure the photos I take for the headstones are the best possible before I post them.

My surnames are:
Watkins/Wadkins
Parsons
Rickman
Thomas
Oliver
Campbell

If I have a page of a loved one and you are related closer to them than me, I will gladly transfer their page over to you. We should treat these pages just as the actual graves of our loved ones with respect, dignity and grace. This site isn't about a numbers game or to have overblown egos either as I've come across on here sadly. If you have no relation whatsoever to someone else's loved one, there is no reason for you to continue to manage their memorial page if an actual relative requests to do so.

Please act respectfully when engaged in a conversation with one another over our loved ones.
