My mom and siblings were born in St. Louis. My dad (1958-2019) and siblings were born in Evansville, IN and Eureka, MO. My dad lived in the ghost town of Times Beach, MO before it was closed due to dioxin contamination.

Mother's side = Welch (Theodore 'Ted' Neil 1931-2020) and Tullock (Opal Louise). John and Theda + Clarence and Hattie before them. Traced back to Ireland and Scotland.

- Oldest Welch = Martin Walsh (1791-1875) born in Ireland, trying to find information about his wife. His son, Martin Welch (1825 to 23 Aug 1934) was born in Ireland and died in Jerseyville, Illinois. Martin married Nancy Neely.
- Oldest Tullock = Nicol Tullock (Tulloch) born in Scotland (1704-unknown) married Margaret Halcrow and they had 12 children.

Father's side = Houghton (James Oliver Sr.) and Baldwin (Janet Rose 1939-2003).

- Oldest Houghton = William S. Houghton (1806-1890) and Margaret Rife (c. 1808). Then there is a gap for a few generations until John Houghton of Lancaster Ma (~1624-1684) and Beatrix. Verified via the Houghton Surname Project.
- Oldest Baldwin = David Baldwin (1758-unknown) and Jennie Sweetland. His grandson was Issac Jiles Baldiwn (1812-1893) of Findlay, Ohio and Elizabeth Wiley (1815-1874).
