For many years I accompanied my mother in decorating graves in Missouri and Oklahoma. My mother brought with her a detailed genealogy book established by her sister who dedicated her adult life to it (pre computers)The book contained pictures and stories of our family ancestors. I was told I had an old soul as I enjoyed spending time with my mom and dad doing this. I inherited this responsibility from my mother as I will someday pass it on to my descendants.

Find a Grave has allowed me to continue this so that others may have the knowledge with a picture to share with others at their leisure but ultimately being able to link families together using obituaries etc.
