Pictured is my sister and I in 1955. Grew up in Payette , Idaho and Ontario, Oregon. Family of 6 kids. Dad was Dr Jess R Baker, Mom was Erma May Newman. Dad was born in Bancroft Idaho and Mom was born in Midvale, Idaho. Dad was also a professional photographer besides being an Optometrist. As kids we all enjoyed many interesting hobbies as a family from archery to water skiing to supporting each other in football, basketball, tennis, track and field and swimming. Dad and Mom met at the Ontario Swim Pool one summer in 1938 and married a few months later.

The past two years I've found a newfound interest in family roots. Sometimes great stories are found here in Find A Grave.
