My name is Helen Darlene Hobbs Maggard. I am a lifelong resident of Wise, Virginia but I was born in Pennington Gap to Bruce and Mary Livesay Hobbs. The son of Grady and Bonnie Biggs Hobbs, my father is a native of the Woodway community in Pennington Gap. My mother's parents were Gay and Pearl Hyden Livesay of Jonesville. My husband, Greg, and I are currently the sole caretakers of the Hobbs Family Cemetery and the old Sprinkle Cemetery which sit adjacent to one another in Woodway.
