Family and specific history researcher, not a record hoarder! As much as I am appreciative of the work done by those folks with thousands of records to their credit, that isn't why I am here. Like cemeteries, this website may seem to be foremost about death, I prefer to look upon both as being about life. And more than a simple tombstone could ever do, the digital memorials found on these web pages are about just that; the respectful chronicling of lives once lived. I find that to be a worthy and noble undertaking (pardon the pun!) to be a part of.

Apart from family members closely related and distant, my interests are in adding to (and sometimes curating the record) of certain persons of perhaps not global renown, but of a certain local importance or particular interest. There are far more interesting stories out there than just those they've written books or made movies about. Even if they only get told here, those stories ought to be told.
