As long as I do not have an immediate genealogical relationship to them, just ask by choosing the Suggest Edits feature under the person's memorial, then click Suggest Other Corrections button, type request transfer and describe their family relationship to you (mother, grandfather, aunt, etc). I'll gladly oblige the transfer for you to manage.I'm an advocate for open, honest and correct (or best known) information to be made freely available to adoptees looking for long lost family or connections. Every person deserves to know who and where they came from. It is especially important for those who have been adopted, fostered, orphaned or warded.
