MARCH 2021

I have a little time on my hands and will try to claim and fulfill requests in:

HALL PLACE / QUINCY

I spent a bunch of time trying to find the Voses. The death certificates say they are there but the stones seem to be gone or buried.

SAINT MARY'S / QUINCY

I live near this Archdiocese of Boston cemetery and have marched through it in its entirety. I do not have access to any indexed map but will try to fulfill photo requests .

Most of the stones are granite so erosion of lettering is not prevalent. There are some marble stones now illegible, there are a few flat on the ground and partially buried.

There are some large family stones that appear to mark a large lot, that do not have individual names engraved on them.

CEDAR GROVE / DORCHESTER

This nicely kept cemetery has pretty good online maps, both an overview and details with plot numbers. It is too large a place for me to attempt blindly marching around, so you would have to reference section numbers to guide me.

Be advised that there is widespread acid rain erosion of marble headstones, many are difficult to read, some are illegible entirely.
