The King family settled near present day Corn, Oklahoma. They were a part of the land run in 1892. My great great grandpa and his two brothers settled south of the ghost town, Seger. The Pleasant View Cemetary is in the center of the 3 farms. The cemetary is located 3 miles south and 1.5 miles east of Corn. Seger was located 2 south and 2 east of Corn. Or 4 miles west of Colony. I believe in 1907 the Kings left for New Mexico and the post office was moved to Colony as the town was shriveling up. One brother, George, stayed behind and lived in Swan Lake on north side of Ft. Cobb. My 3x great grandma is buried in the cemetery along with George's wife.
