Bio

My interest in genealogy started when my Great Uncle Joseph Kenneth Breese died and we found my Great Grandmother's, Elvina Teeters, collection of family history in a trunk. I have been visiting relatives, libraries, cemeteries, and even the National Archives for over 30 years. Much of my research occurred before cell phones and internet records. I view myself as a curator of family history. I have built an extensive file on Ancestry.com and am further enhancing with FindAGrave.com. I also try to memorialize all my military ancestors on www.fold3.com. This is also a great resource for our ancestors. I will be happy to answer questions, share data, transfer memorials, or send pictures.

Primary family lines: Powell, Williams, Allen, Breese, Teeters, Bills, Bowles etc and as I have always said, I am related to almost everyone with family from Rockcastle and Jackson Counties, Kentucky.

I always try to enhance memorials, so if you have additional info or pics, feel free to submit. Genealogy is a constantly evolving study. As such, I welcome any and all corrections, additions, or deletions. If you are brand new to family research, consider me a reference, as I will do all I can to help.
