After finding out I have kin who fought at Gettysburg, Shiloh, and Corinth during the Civil War, my curiosity was peaked when I found Patriots from the Revolutionary War from Ohio and Pennsylvania as well. Others fought in WWI, II, and Vietnam. I belong to the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) the women's service organization promoting patriotism, preserving American history, and securing America's future through better education of children.

Am grateful to those who created Memorials for so many of my ancestors who made it possible for me to be here today!
