Lover of history who was born & raised in Hico, Tx & currently live north of Dallas. Family names include Meador, Dodd, Hendricks, Egger, Pittman, Edwards. Most of my research has been done on the Meador side who came from England to the US settling in Virginia & various other Southern states, as well as New Mexico. I enjoy wandering cemeteries, assisting in restoring abandoned cemeteries & gravestone restoration & oversee 10 family plots at Hico Cemetery. I find this therapeutic & educational & a labor of love.
