Family surnames are Clagett, Crown, Burriss, Allison, Mullican, Ricketts, Holland, Gates, Kisner, Higgins, Warfield, Hawkins, Ellis, Beall, Walker, Wood, Magruder and Jackson.
And in the state of Virginia, Siple, Hiner and Mallow.

I also work on my husband's ancestors primarily from Virginia with some from West Virginia and North Carolina and also back to the earliest colonial settlers. His family surnames are Price, James, O'Quinn, Deel, Deskins and Dye.

I have been actively researching my ancestry since 2005 as well as a subscriber to Ancestry.com.
I am meticulous about the information I accept or enter into my records. Without proof positive I will only "note" that it is a theory.

I will focus on my own relatives and primarily in and around Montgomery County, Maryland. However I will work just as hard researching every memorial I manage.

I've been on the Board of Directors for Rockville Historic Cemetery since 2020 and manage many memorials there. Current and former Board members work hard identify and update information to these memorials. While many are my family members, many are not.
