I have a love for history, art and architecture and am always interested in the history of Richland County in Ohio.

I complete a lot of volunteer pictures for Springfield Township in Richland County:
1. Some cemeteries are on private property and I can't access the graves.
2. Many older headstones in New Castle Cemetery were in such poor condition that the township has them stored indoors for safe-keeping.
3. In the Webster Cemetery, all headstones were all thrown into a pile in the 1970s by a farmer. The township did their best to preserve what was left.
4. And sadly, we have at least one cemetery that was vandalized.

If the memorial is listed as Mansfield Memorial Park in Ontario, don't be surprised if your loved-one is not buried there. At least one memorial creator has listed hundreds of memorials in this cemetery without evidence.

If no plot number is listed on the memorial, please contact the cemetery office for the exact location.
