Something about a graveyard and cemetery makes me thrilled. My sister started years ago to do our genealogy, and we started to look for the graves of relatives. That's when my grave hunting hobby took off. In the warmer months, I can be found reading, drawing, or just meditating in a cemetery/graveyard. I have attended a few lectures about cemeteries and graveyards, so I am very knowledgeable (along with some of my own research) about them and enjoy talking about it to others. I joined Find A Grave to help others find their families, to help preserve that history. Seeing so many stone markers weathered or vandalizes makes me sad. I hope I can help preserve those names for the future.
