Bio

I've been researching my maternal ancestry and extended family for 43 years. They are the Faciane, Galatas, Pena & Pichon families of St. Tammany Parish, LA. Other surnames include Dubuisson, Cousin, Trepnagier, Laurent, Severe, Gonzales, Douley, and Krebs.

**Note: I do hav extensive research and photographs of Dubuisson Cemetery prior to Katrina--there was such devistation. If anyone is looking for a how individuals are connected to each other or want to know if I have a photograph of one of the tombstones, crypts, etc. prior to Katrina, message me and I'll check. Right now, I do not have the time to upload all of the photographs with the connecting genealogy, etc. But, do remember ... ALL individuals buried in Dubuisson Cemetery are RELATIVES and descendants of Francois Dubuisson de Montferrier, born 1690, and who arrived from France in 1721. It is his grandson as noted below who donated the land for the Dubuisson Cemetery.

Francois Dubuisson
Died latter part of 1700's
Donor of this cemetery
Grandson of Francois Dubuisson de Montferrier

Recently, (2018) I have started to research my husband's ancestry. His lines are Lowrey, Redmond, Hambleton, Bittner, Johnson, Kelly (Kings County, NY), McCormick, Kelly (Roxbury, Suffolk County, Massachusetts), and Hannon.
